Hague apostille for public documents used in countries party to the Hague Convention – we obtain it on your behalf.
An apostille is a simplified certification of a public document under the 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents. It confirms the authenticity of the signature, the capacity of the signatory and the seal or stamp on the document.
In Slovenia, apostilles are issued by the district courts. For documents issued abroad, the apostille must come from the competent authority of the issuing country – we arrange that too through our international network, and we help you get the order right: apostille on the original, certified translation, and an apostille on the translation where required.

When do I need an apostille?
When a Slovenian public document is used in another country party to the Hague Convention (or vice versa) and the authority requires authentication. Countries outside the Convention require embassy or consular legalization instead.
Does the translation need an apostille too?
Some countries require it. We check the rules of the destination country and prepare the documents in the correct order.
Do I need to go to the court in person?
No. You send or hand over the document by arrangement and we obtain the apostille for you.
