Sworn translations by court-appointed translators, with seal and certification clause, accepted by authorities, courts, notaries and foreign institutions.
A certified translation in Slovenia is produced by a court interpreter (sodni tolmač) appointed by the Slovenian Ministry of Justice. The translation is bound to the original or a copy of the document and carries the translator’s seal and certification clause confirming that it matches the source.
You need one whenever a document goes to a public office, court, notary, university, employer or foreign authority. Because we work through an international network, we can also have the translation done by a sworn translator in the country where it will be used.

How much does a certified translation cost?

Do I need the original for a quote?
No. A scan or photo is enough for a quote. Before we start, we agree whether the translation will be bound to the original, a certified copy or a plain copy – this depends on the authority receiving it.
How long does it take?
Short personal documents are usually translated within a few working days. Urgent jobs are possible by arrangement – the deadline is stated in the quote.
Will my certified translation be valid abroad?
That depends on the country. An apostille or embassy legalization is often required as well. Tell us where the document will be used and we will handle the whole process.
